I can't wait to come back to this restaurant again for dinner because the food is authentic and delicious. The staff is always so helpful and friendly as soon as you walk in. My all time favorite dishes to order are the chong qing hot chicken, sweet and sour shredded potatoes, bean jelly, and cold spicy chicken. Yummmmm! Just thinking about it makes my mouth water

Ive tried many different schezuan restaurants on the west coast and Taste of Schezuan did not disappoint. Everything is so flavorful and addictive. Be prepared to have a spice kick!!

Steamed dumplings - VERY good! 4.75. Just missing some spice that the potstickers have. Also be warned that your first bite if not careful can squirt out hot water from the inside. Absolutely worth getting!

Cashew chicken - very good! Wonderful blend of spices, mild heat, and the corn was a refreshing twist

Prawns with walnuts - amazing as always
Potstickers - still the best in the city!

This place just keeps getting worse. They probably hired new chiefs many times because now everything tastes like it is cooked by some guy from southern China that knows nothing about Sichuan food. Simply throwing in a bunch of chili crisps and dried pepper into the food won't make it Sichuan. Everything tastes very Cantonese.

Bad environment as always. Dim light and sometimes wet floor. I hate sitting in the back next to those two big tables as those customers always yell at each other and I can't hear my own voice.

Bad service. The only good thing about this place now is they bring out the food really fast. Also, they charge a tip of 15% or 18% automatically when certain standards are met. Pay attention to your receipt so you don't tip twice as it almost happened to us last time.

I usually like this place .. they have a decent cold bar of apps I probably have pictures of .. today I picked up a house special fried rice WITH EXTRA paid for chicken ... I think I paid like $16
I will post a picture . 2 shrimp , 2 small pieces of beef and 40 cents worth of chicken .. made me sad since I usually hit this place up .. getting worst and worst so I had to change my review . In what way is this extra chicken and worth the price

One of the better Chinese joints in the Portland area. Priciest are high but it's reflective of the portion size and unlike other Chinese restaurants you have to pay extra for white rice. Service is better than your standard Chinese restaurant. Fave dish so far is the chopped pepper chicken and that's consensus with a few other friends. Chong ching chicken has great flavor but I'm generally not a fan of the tingling peppers that give me a sour aftertaste. I'd avoid the XLB, thick wrap with very little soup. Dried green beans are a good vegetable option. Spicy basil beef is bland and not spicy. Tons of other options to try so I'll def be back.
